You’ll be okay

Sometimes you feel so sad - like nothing is going right in your life. Maybe you just went through something painful - being sick, going through a breakup, failed an exam, etc. But if you allow yourself to drown in this pile of misery, where will it really get you? I know, God bestow such challenges upon us for a valid reason, one that only we will be able to realize in the future but he also said that with these challenges, comes effort - how we struggle out of it, how we make ourselves better and how we remember Him more because only He can make things better for us no matter how hard they are.

Pretty sure everyone who knows me, knows that I’m a person who learns things the hard way and I’ve been through a lot of painful experiences, but these experiences don’t just stop me from going on with my life and waiting for change to happen and waiting for things to get better and for it to go back to the way it was because deep down I know it won’t. So what do I do?

I change. Because the only change that can happen is me. I need to change my ways, the way I think and make the best out of what’s left of me even if it’s difficult. Falling down is easy but getting back up, everyone knows how tough it is but think about it.. Dwelling just won’t make things any better. And dwelling definitely won’t make things go back to the way it was.

Moving hard is definitely more than just words. It’s so much more than that. But if you want something so much, you’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen right? So you have to want to make things better for yourself and go on from there. It’s not hard if you say it’s easy but it’s hard if you say it is.

But, at the end of the day, no matter how long it takes, do know this…

You’ll be okay.
